Client Protection
How Clients are Protected
Cleverstack manages risk through structure, not promises. The protections built into our model are not marketing — they are the operational consequence of how every engagement is designed and governed.
Protection 1 — Scope Is Defined Before Delivery Begins
No delivery work is authorised without a locked, agreed scope. Inclusions and exclusions are documented. Completion criteria are established. You know exactly what will be delivered before any work begins — and so do we.
Protection 2 — Changes Are Explicit, Not Assumed
If requirements change during delivery, those changes are handled through a formal process. They are assessed, documented, and agreed before any additional work proceeds. Scope does not expand informally.
Protection 3 — Delivery Is Governed, Not Improvised
Cleverstack operates as the governance layer between you and delivery execution. Scope boundaries are maintained. Acceptance criteria are applied. The engagement closes at a defined point, with a formal acceptance event — not an assumed one.
Protection 4 — Responsibility Is Clearly Bounded
Cleverstack's responsibility is strictly limited to delivering the agreed scope in accordance with the agreed acceptance criteria. We do not make commercial performance guarantees. We make delivery commitments — and we honour them.
Protection 5 — Agreements Are Plain and Enforceable
Every engagement is governed by a formal written agreement. Terms are clear. Responsibilities are explicit on both sides. All engagements are protected by a mutual non-disclosure agreement signed before project details are exchanged.
IP created during delivery transfers to you once all payment obligations are met.
Full terms — including payment obligations, acceptance periods, liability, and termination — are defined in the Client Engagement Agreement and the applicable Statement of Work.
The Model Is the Protection
Most delivery problems — cost overruns, missed expectations, scope disputes — arise from unclear beginnings. By requiring proper definition before delivery is authorised, and maintaining explicit governance throughout, Cleverstack removes the conditions in which those problems typically occur.
The engagement model is not a safety net for when things go wrong. It is designed to prevent things from going wrong in the first place.
