2. Engage, Discover, Team Design

• Before development begins, we invest in proper planning.

• Through structured discovery sessions, we refine requirements, draft a high-level architecture, and design the right delivery team for your project.

• You’ll also see vetted developer and project manager profiles.

• 💳 Engagement Fee applies (from AUD$2,500 then scaling with project size). Any uncharged portion of this fee is credited toward your first milestone if you proceed.

3. Scope, Budget, Plan

• We convert the discovery work into a detailed scope, budget, and milestone plan, then prepare your Statement of Work.

• This step ensures there are no surprises — you’ll know exactly what will be delivered, when, and at what cost.

• 💳 Already included in the Engagement Fee.

4. Execute with Milestones

• Your dedicated team begins development, with work divided into clear, trackable milestones.

• We check in at each stage to make sure everything stays on track.

• If issues arise, we step in to resolve them quickly.

• 💳 After scope approval, a small Initiation Deposit (5–10%) secures your slot.

• Each milestone is then paid to Cleverstack in advance, but funds are only released to developers once deliverables are signed off.

5. Deliver

• Once all milestones are complete, we deliver the final product — with full handover of code, documentation, and assets.

• To ensure peace of mind, every project includes a 30-day bug-fix window, with extended support available if needed.

Payment Structure

We’ve designed our payment model to be transparent, low-risk, and fair for both startups and larger organisations. Each stage is tied to deliverables, so you only pay for real progress.

1. Engagement Fee

Before development begins, an Engagement Fee covers Discovery and Team Design.

• Starts from AUD $2,500 for smaller projects, scaling with size and complexity (typically ~2% of expected value for medium/large projects).

• Ensures your project is properly scoped and the right team is assigned.

• Any uncharged portion is credited toward your first milestone if you proceed.

2. Project Initiation Deposit

Once scope is finalised, a small deposit (5–10% of the total budget) secures your project slot and locks in your delivery team.

3. Milestone-Based Payments

The remainder of the budget is divided into clearly defined milestones.

• Each milestone is invoiced in advance.

• Funds are only released when deliverables are signed off.

• This provides built-in protection: no milestone delivered = no funds released.

4. Final Delivery & Support

At project completion, all deliverables are handed over with a 30-day bug-fix window included. Extended support is available if required.

Additional Terms

• Change Orders: Any scope changes or unforeseen complexity will be managed through a Change Order with updated cost and timeline for approval.

• Kill Fee: Engagement Fee is non-refundable. Completed milestones remain billable if a project is cancelled early.

• Bug Fix vs. New Work: Bug fixes correct agreed functionality. New features or changes require a new scope or milestone.

• Ownership: Deliverables transfer to the client once all invoices are paid in full.

• Currency & Fees: All invoices are in AUD. GST applies where required. Clients cover bank or transfer fees.

• Dispute Resolution: Agreements are governed by Queensland, Australia law.
